Overview // Join us for this beginning to intermediate drawing class that will focus on working in one of the styles of the old masters: a highly structured, detail-oriented drawing style using graphite. In this class, we will use still life and casts. All levels of expertise are welcome.
This class will include helpful exercises and step by step instructions in creating a drawing using a still life or cast. You will start (and perhaps finish) a cast drawing.
You will learn:
Drawing in shadow shapes
This workshop is appropriate for beginning artists, including students building on the lessons from Lury Norris' "Truly Beginning Drawing" class.
About the Instructor
Lury Norris is a local artist. She has been regularly visually creating and teaching since 2008. She has run workshops and classes teaching people to draw on the Central Coast and in the Bay Area and studied classical realism in the Bay Area for the past 3 years. Registration $130 members, $145 general includes all materials.
