PAINT-OUT: Thursday, October 5 through Saturday, October 7
Once-in-a lifetime opportunity for artists to paint some of the most scenic views of the California Central Coast while the public watches them paint the headlands and beaches, historic ranch land, and sweeping ocean vistas on PG&E's private land.

GRAND OPENING & SALE: Friday, October 6, 6–9 pm
View the Festival Artist's fresh paintings at the Festival's Grand Opening exhibition and sale at SLOMA on Friday night, in conjunction with Art After Dark, the citywide gallery walk. Meet the Festival artists. Enjoy relaxing music and sip fine San Luis Obispo County wines. If you see a painting you love, buy it right off the walls. Sales benefit the artists and SLOMA's youth education programming. No admission charge. Visit SLOMA's store to see available paintings and purchase online.

EXHIBITION & SALE: Ongoing from Friday evening's Grand Opening to Sunday afternoon's closing bell. Festival paintings can be purchased right off the SLOMA gallery walls. Artists are going out early on Saturday morning to paint more of their favorite locations and will be bringing in more freshly framed paintings as the event continues.

Details // PG&E docents will help the provide the public with some shuttle service along the trail, but the public should be able to walk the distance, be dressed for hiking and coastal weather patterns, and be prepared to carry what you need in and out of the property. Point Buchon Trail is 6.6 miles of easy walking on a well-marked trail located on the northern end of PG&E's Diablo Canyon private property. No charge for access, but the public has to sign-in and sign-out with the PG&E docents. Access to the Point Buchon trailhead starts at the Coon Creek Parking Lot at the south end of Montaña de Oro State Park and is always open to the public Thursdays to Mondays from 8 to 5.
