About the Instructor
Christine Cortese, originally from Northern California, received her BFA from UC Santa Barbara. After experimenting with large abstract works, she took a completely different tack and settled into more realistic plein air and still life painting. She paints outside every week and her work emphasizes a loose, fresh style. Ms. Cortese shares her enthusiasm for the world around her through her paintings and wants other aspiring artists to do the same, while helping them discover their own unique "voice".Visit her website at fineartpaintingsbychristine.com.
