Overview // Artwork by ten artists who either taught at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, or were connected in other ways, are being featured in An Esalen Perspective, one facet of The Coastal Awakening, an arts and cultural movement centered within and around San Luis Obispo County, sponsored by the Shanbrom Family Foundation.

Opening reception to meet the artists is Friday, September 21, 5–7 pm.

Thanks to Gordon and Nancy Wheeler, President and Senior Advisor of the Esalen Institute. Artwork was gathered from Cynthia and Daniel Bianchetta, Kyle H. Evans, Erin Gafill, Paul Heussenstamm, Allen Rozelle, Joanne Beaule Ruggles, Andy Abrahams Wilson, and Adam Wolpert.

Esalen is a 501c3 non-profit educational center.
