Art at High Noon: Ghost Stories

Events // Art at High Noon: Ghost Stories

Nov 1 - Nov 1

Overview // Bring your lunch and enjoy a feast for the eyes with Art at High Noon, an art appreciation program for working adults. SLOMA will host an art history lecture, artist's talk, or activity that fits perfectly within your lunch hour, giving 9-to-5’ers a dose of artistic inspiration during the work day. Admission is free and open to the public.

On Thursday, November 1, join artist-in-residence David Limrite for an in-depth look at his exhibition, A Roomful of Ghosts, on view in SLOMA's McMeen Gallery October 5 to December 2, 2018. David will discuss the concept for the exhibition and residency, the theme of the pieces he is creating, his working process, and the supplies and materials he incorporates into his art. He will also have 5 artworks in various stages of completion.

Details // Join us every month on the First Thursday from Noon to 1 PM. Topics of future Art at High Noon events will be announced on the SLOMA website. Entry is free and open to the public.
