The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art’s events and activities bring the Museum to life. Open to all, visitors and members may meet artists and fellow art enthusiasts at receptions, openings, lectures, discussions, tours, and other special Museum events.
Known for its collaboration in the community, the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art co-presented the first annual SLO Mini Maker Faire on May 11, 2013 with Central Coast Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Education Collaborative and Cal Poly departments of Material Engineering, Architecture, Liberal Arts and the Engineering Studies Program.
