This exhibition showcases a wide variety of cutting edge digital imaging techniques which “morph” or stretch an image into a more abstract, expressionistic or pictoral look. The techniques photographers use to achieve these effects can include High Dynamic Range, texture addition, photomontages, painting programs, filter effects and other post-processing methods.

The juror, Richard Martin, is a long-time contributor to Photo Life magazine and pursues photography as a medium of visual expression. Mr. Martin leads annual workshops on photography and visual design in Kingston, Ontario and also teaches workshops and seminars across the United States.
